Just so you know, today is going to be the "Best School Day EVER!!". Today is field day and Ian is so excited he has been jumping and twitching for two days now. As soon as he came home from school yesterday, he laid out his clothes for field day today. He's on the yellow team so he had to find the perfect yellow shirt. He had two, so he painstakingly examined them and chose the one with a basketball on it "because basketball is a sport and field day is about sports". (Nevermind that the other one had soccer on it). Field day is held at the park around the corner from our house, so Zoe and I are heading over there this morning. I'll try to remember to take pictures.
After school Ian is going home with a friend and Zoe has her 3-year old check-up. She was worried, but Ian was sweet and told her how much fun she'll have and told her what the doctor would check so she'd be comfortable. She felt better after reassurance from him.
