We had a wonderful time at the state park, for 4 nights. Our "villa" was amazing with a fabulous view of the lake (see the pictures in the next post down). Ian was so happy to be able to have some freedom to hang out in the backyard alone and spent lots of time sitting on a log just looking out at the lake. The weather was a bit cold and rainy, but we still got to go to the zoo, the state capital, take some good long walks, and play lots of games inside. The kids loved playing together, and we adults had a wonderful time catching up and watching the kids play.
